Sous Chef opportunity to work with James Beard 2024 Emerging Chef Masako Morishita! Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and daily operations. Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring proper training and performance. Maintain inventory levels and place orders as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Monitor and maintain the quality of food production and presentation. Ensure proper portion control and waste management. Maintain a positive and collaborative team environment. Manage kitchen schedules and ensure efficient workflow. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and safety standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. A passion for food and dedication to providing exceptional dining experiences.
